Manual firmware reinstallation on Ulanzi D200

I’m an IT technician working with a Ulanzi Studio D200 that is showing execution failures. I already reinstalled the official software, but the issue persists.
I managed to get a firmware file for the D200, but it came without instructions. I also own an EEPROM programmer and have experience flashing chips, so I can apply it manually if needed.
My questions are:
[*]Which chip in the D200 stores the firmware (EEPROM or specific MCU)?
[*]Is there any official flash utility to reinstall firmware manually without disassembling the device?
[*]Has anyone successfully applied this same firmware file?
Before flashing directly, I’d like to confirm with the community if there’s a recommended procedure to avoid bricking the device.
Thanks in advance for any guidance or shared experience.
Update: The device does not go beyond the initial screen and stays stuck showing “Starting Up”. This means the boot process is not completing.

1. What are the first three characters of the serial number (SN) on the back of your device?
2. Are you using Windows or Mac?
I also have a similar request. I have already emailed the support team at ustudioservice@ulanzi.com but have not received a response yet. I would like to reset my device but I am unable to do so.

SN: last 3 digits 595
Operating system: Windows 11

Hello,Different product SN sequences require different flashing methods.
If there is no serial number on the back of your device, or if the serial number starts with 01 or a letter, you can use this method.

There are two IMG files in the folder. Be sure to exit the Ulanzi Studio app before upgrading the RK firmware.2. The tweezers used for short-circuiting must be conductive. First, use the tweezers to touch both contacts, then plug in the USB cable. Please strictly follow this order and check whether the RK App detects a new device before proceeding to the next step.
3. If flashing the 2.0.3 IMG file causes the screen to display garbled characters, please flash the 1.7.4 IMG file instead. You can then install the 2.0.19 app version to push the update to 2.0.3.
4. After upgrading the firmware app version to 2.0.3, you can update the Ulanzi Studio app to the latest version.
- I would like to confirm that my model is D200X, with a serial number (SN) starting with 02D. I will try your suggested solution and see how it goes.
- In addition, I would like to request the following features: a sleep function after a specified period of inactivity, a sleep hotkey, and controls to increase/decrease screen brightness.
- The Win + L shortcut for locking Windows is still not working. Although I have assigned the hotkey, pressing it does not lock the screen.

1. Your serial number starts with 02. This serial number does not support firmware flashing via RK. We need details about your device, including the app connection status, device port connection status, and what is displayed on the device screen. Please send an email with a full description of the situation; if you can include a video, it would be very helpful in identifying the issue.
2. Sleep mode settings and the sleep mode plugin for adjusting device brightness have been added to our feature roadmap. We expect these features to be gradually improved starting with Ulanzi Studio V3.2 and later versions.
3. The Windows+L shortcut for locking the screen: While the Windows operating system imposes restrictions on third-party app control, we have developed a plugin to support this functionality. Please search for the “Windows Shortcuts” plugin in the app store; it includes a screen lock feature.
