D200 not detected after Ulanzi Studio update

Hello,
I am experiencing a serious issue with my Ulanzi D200 after a recent Ulanzi Studio update on Windows.
Background
  • The D200 was working normally before the update.
  • After updating Ulanzi Studio, the device became very slow.
  • After another update / restart, it completely stopped working.

Current symptoms
  • In Ulanzi Studio, the device status shows “Disconnected”
  • When the D200 is connected to the PC:
    • Windows detects it as “USB Billboard”
    • If I remove the device, it disappears
    • If I reconnect it, it appears again as USB Billboard

  • This indicates that USB connection is working, but Ulanzi Studio cannot communicate with the device

Important additional information
  • I already tried uninstalling the latest Ulanzi Studio and reinstalling an older version that previously worked
  • The problem still persists even with the older version
  • This suggests the issue is not limited to the latest software version
  • It may be caused by:
    • Firmware corruption during the update
    • Driver issue left behind after the update
    • Firmware and software no longer matching


What I have tried
  • Reinstalling Ulanzi Studio (latest and older versions)
  • Reconnecting the device multiple times
  • Removing the USB device (“USB Billboard”) from Windows and reconnecting
  • Direct USB connection (no hub)

Environment
  • OS: Windows (64-bit)
  • Device: Ulanzi D200
  • Connection: USB (direct)

Questions
  • Is there a way to force firmware recovery or re-flash firmware on the D200?
  • Is there a manual driver installation for this device?
  • Is this a known issue related to recent updates?



This is a screenshot when I connect D200 to PC, I can see a USB connection device.

At this point, the device is completely unusable.
Any official guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Hello,
We released Ulanzi Studio APP yesterday. Please try installing it to confirm if the issue persists.

🚀 Key Updates
Feature Enhancements:
1. Optimized OBS plugin recognition under administrator permissions.
2. Addressed device lag in specific scenarios.
3. Other experience improvements.

Deployed on official website and OTA channels.

If recovery is not possible, you can push and install the firmware application by running an ADB script.


Rewrite the firmware. (Windows only)
1. On a Windows computer, open the link below in your browser and download the firmware package.
https://cdn.ulanzistudio.com/sharing/Update_2.0.3_0520.zip
2. First, connect the Deck device to the Windows computer and wait for the device to enter the Starting Up state.
3. Unzip the zip package, find "update.bat" and run it. Wait for the device to restart. It usually takes about 20 seconds to enter the system.

Provide your product serial number (located under App > Settings > Device View). Customer service will verify if a corresponding firmware flashing solution is available.

안녕하세요.
위의 증상이 계속되고 있습니다.
잘사용중에 26년 3월 9일 이후에 완전히 멈추었고 위의 사용자와 똑같은 상황입니다.
새로운 제품을 구매하여 설치해보았으나 여전히 전원조차 켜지지 않았습니다.

a mi me ocurre lo mismo pero con mac, que solucion puede tener, donde esta el firmware de mac para poder probar ?

Please contact the store’s customer service and provide the following basic information:
1. Is your computer running Windows or Mac?
2. After connecting the device, what screen is displayed in the app, and what screen is shown on the device?
3. Please provide a screenshot of the back of the device so we can verify the serial number (SN).
